Their newest location is located just steps from The Sony Centre, Air Canada Centre, Hockey Hall Of Fame and Union Station.  This location boasts a beautiful large outdoor terrace.

The Fran’s tradition began more than 70 years ago by Buffalo, NY-native Francis (Fran) Deck. In 1918, Francis’ older brother Greg opened Deco Refreshments, a modest dining establishment and the perfect place for Francis to debut Fran’s!  Fran’s opened in Toronto in 1940 at Yonge & College.

In its history, Fran’s has become famous for several dishes, most notably the “Banquet Burger”. Francis Deck created the world’s first Banquet Burger in the 1940s – today, you might recognize the Banquet Burger by its modern name, the bacon cheeseburger! Other favourites include Fran’s famous chili and rice pudding – both have earned several awards over the years – and, of course, homemade apple pie!

Today, Fran’s is a Toronto institution known for its home-style cooking and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Fran’s is a family-owned and operated establishment that continues to serve great food at great prices!  This location has a spectacular street-level terrace for the best of people watching and hustle & bustle of Toronto while dining or for drinks.
